March Goals – Revisited [GTD]

Things to do for the month of March.

  • Fix the walls in the “winter room.” office.
  • Lay laminate flooring in the “winter room.” office.
  • Till garden.
  • Plan some stuff: Chives, Onions, Potatoes.
  • Seed and fertilize the lawn.
  • Remove metal/garbage/debris from the yard.
  • Construct rain water tank & get pressurized irrigation turned on.
  • ???????
  • Divide mom’s Rhubarb.
  • Propagate some of my moms white grapes.

I hope this month is happy and productive as ever. The house should be nearing completion (at least for the upstairs) by April. Woot.

February Goals [GTD]

Things I need/want to do for this month:

  • Paint baseboards.
  • Cut down the tree in the garden.
  • Lay laminate flooring in the “winter room”.
  • Fix the walls in the “winter room.”.
  • Seed and fertilize the lawn.
  • Haul off Gail’s RV and the Datsun.
  • Remove metal/garbage/debris from the yard.
  • Make the fire pit area (yay! everybody dance!)
  • rain water tank
  • Maybe till the garden.
  • ???????
  • New TV?
  • Divide mom’s Rhubarb.
  • Propagate some of my moms white grapes.

We’ve come a long long way together Through the hard times and the good.

So I have a few updates on the house. Here are a list of new things we’ve done:

  • Completely new floor in the back bedroom.
  • Hang drywall in kitchen, and finish it.
  • Texture living room and kitchen (big thanks to Shane Golding)
  • Prime kitchen and living room.
  • Paint the bedroom and library.
  • New carpet in bedroom and library. (so so so nice)
  • Clean out the attic.

Enough with lists and talk, here are the pictures. Sorry about the quality, I took them with my BB.

Drain pipe fail -- I don't even want to start with this one.

After. We replaced this pipe from the basement to the vent on the roof. Its a a pretty awesome project.

Wish I had taken a before of this pimp dresser Waldo left me, but it turned out really nice with some new paint.
