New Digs!
My closing date for my mortgage is coming up quickly! I’ll be moving in mid November if all goes as planned. I need to go measure the house up to see how much our floors are going to be, and so I can make an effective plan for the house. I can’t wait!
Mark Shuttleworth: You can cram it.
Ubuntu needs beauty work, they admit, it will be the focus of the next release. However, I would like to salute Mark S.’s poor taste in design with WillWill’s GDM Concept. Sadly and in all likelihood it will not work it’s way into Intrepid. Every one of Will’s works has been amazing, yet all get … Continue reading
Elementary Desktop Taking Shape
I have been dedicating some of my free time to this project, and it is looking like something real now. The current plan is to base it off Ubuntu, I think Ubuntu Ultimate might be the best option, but we’re keeping our minds open as far as the OS goes. I am working hard to … Continue reading

I was wondering why my site was taking FOREVER to load… Looks like something between Comcast and level3.net (AT&T) is really bad.. MySpace.com [finally] Jazzes Up Their Design
Looks like MySpace has upgraded their look and feel. Finally.. I wonder how long it will be before they update and optimize their datacenters. For those of you lucky enough not to have accounts, here is their (my) new home page… It doesn’t look bad at all.
OpenSolaris 2008.05
I’ve never really been a huge fan of Sun or Solaris, but after running it for a couple hours, it seems that almost everything “just works”; its great! To an novice it would seem like any other Linux distro, but its not! Its about 20% more responsive, and very stable. Great job Sun! Enough talk, … Continue reading
Win2Lin
Linux is gaining more and more popularity everyday. Right now Windows in the grand scheme of software is well supported legacy software. Its simply out of date. Unix, Linux, and BSD have always been lighter, and more stable. Unless you’re a gamer, there is little reason to switch. BUT if you are a gamer that … Continue reading
