Friday I got some yard work done after work, mostly just ripped out four 5 gallon buckets of these stupid bulbs from the lawn and planter boxes. I don’t know how these things got so plentiful. I wonder if I could eat them..

And good news! My grandma’s rhubarb is still alive! I saw its “brains” poking out on saturday after I swept it off.

Saturday my aunt Jackie got married to Shane Golding. There were some tense times when the groom got stuck in traffic and was a good bit late but other than that it went well. I got to see my great grandma for the first time in over 9000 years… That was uh.. nice.. Well it was pretty damn funny. She had a baby doll she was playing with. While the bishop was telling a slightly humorous anecdote she was making noises that I assume were laughter, but we’ll never know for sure — She was laughing her ass off at the doll. The bishop and half the audience was trying to maintain their composure while it sounds like satan is having the time of his life in the room with you. Scary but funny.
Here’s a picture of my brother, grandpa (he is a legendary good guy) and Jackie.

During the whole thing I couldn’t help but feel nervous for them after all I am going to be doing the same thing on thursday… I’m nervous, stoked and not wanting to wear a tux.. But I’ll be cool. hah
I got an iPhone this Monday and I must say it’s quite the device. You have wifi, a nice camera, a touch screen and plenty other awesome features. I can check my gmail account, see the weather, check the news… Oh, and it’s a phone.
While everyone is loving this hype-machine there are some atrocities you should be aware of before purchasing this toy.
*There is no copy/paste.
*Updates often remove more functionality than they bring.
*You cannot send or recieve multimedia messages.
*If you don’t have a Macintosh computer you can’t manage your photos on the device.
*Multitasking is impossible. You can only run one app at a time. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. While it frees up memory to use other apps you can’t listen to pandora and write an email.
All this being said it still is an awesome toy. I wrote this blog post on it after all. But it did take me about 20 minutes to peck it all out.
I’ve owned this house for 5 months now. The previous occupant removed his vehicles on Saturday.. Yep. And he waited until the very last day he had to take them. Jerk. Anyways, here are some pics and a video.
