Elementary Desktop Taking Shape

I have been dedicating some of my free time to this project, and it is looking like something real now. The current plan is to base it off Ubuntu, I think Ubuntu Ultimate might be the best option, but we’re keeping our minds open as far as the OS goes. I am working hard to get a .deb installer built for the theme and default settings.

Some highlights/goals of the project:

• clean, useable, and simple UI
• new package manager in the works — dash
